About Us

Jinn was founded by two Olas DAO founding members. We have been building and investing in crypto-native agentic projects since 2019, and helped put the foundations in place for Olas.

Jinn recognizes that crypto provides critical infrastructure to enable Internet-scale agentic AI systems. Our edge is in taking cutting edge developments in LLMs and open source agent systems, and augmenting them with crypto native technologies like the blockchain and DeFi.

We believe it is important for the core team to stay minimal. Crypto has normalized large development teams, but we believe this makes projects and protocols vulnerable to external shock. The Jinn team aims to remain as small as possible, and ideally to achieve redundancy from executive and operational involvement if the opportunity becomes practical.

If we do onboard new people to a central team, they should join as equal partner who significantly extends the capability of the organization. We seek ultra-high autonomy in our team, not just in the systems we build.

We maximally embrace novel AI tooling, and recognize that understanding and respecting these tools can lead to exceptional boosts in productivity. Our radical approach to remaining lean as a team was informed by this.
